Wilmington, NC (October 9, 2026) – Cape Fear Community College’s Student Veterans Organization is hosting a free, family-friendly Trunk-or-Treat event on Thursday October 29, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at CFCC’s Downtown Campus.

The festive gathering offers a safe, family-oriented environment complete with creatively dressed vehicle trunks, plenty of sweets, and Halloween entertainment. Attendees of all ages are invited to wear their Halloween best for an evening of neighborhood fun, games, and community connection.

“This event is all about bringing our students and community together,” said Jason Bocchino, Director of Veteran Services at CFCC. “It gives our student veterans a chance to engage directly with the area, share in the Halloween spirit, and express our gratitude for the community’s ongoing support.”

The celebration will take place in Student Parking Lot #2 on CFCC’s Downtown Campus. A map of the downtown Wilmington campus can be found at cfcc.edu/about/maps-locations/wilmington-campus/ .
