Get started on your four-year degree or take those few classes that you need to stay on track at your home institution.

Why Cape Fear

Transferable

For a fraction of the cost you’d spend at a four-year school, you can learn the same material at CFCC and have it count toward your four-year degree. In 2018-19, 1339 students earned transferable degrees from CFCC. With over 16 articulation agreements in place with North Carolina universities and additional partnerships with other colleges and universities, both private and independent, CFCC is well equipped to transfer credits. Moreover, the advising team at CFCC will work with you student directly to make sure every credit counts at the receiving school.

Cost Effective

Substituting a year—or even a few classes— at a four-year school for a year at CFCC, will save you thousands! In-state tuition for a full-time student at CFCC is just $2,590 a year, less than half the cost of tuition at a four-year school. In addition to saving thousands, CFCC offers a flexible payment plan that can help you break the cost up into scheduled payments. Scholarships, loans, and grants are also available.
