CFCC Athletics dominates Region 10 Conference fall sports rankings

Wilmington, NC — Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is proud to announce that all three of its fall sports teams have finished Division II Regional 10 Conference play and ranked in the top three for their respective sports. The Sea Devils are entering postseason play with great momentum: Women’s Soccer is ranked #1, Volleyball is holding the #2 spot, and Men’s Soccer is positioned at #3.

Moving into the Region 10 Conference tournament play, the CFCC women’s soccer team will host the Louisburg College Hurricanes in the semifinals on Wednesday, October 23, at 3:00 p.m. at home. Meanwhile, the men’s soccer team will face the Wake Tech Eagles in their semifinal match on the same day at 4:00 p.m. in Raleigh, NC. The Regional 10 volleyball tournament seedings will be announced early next week at region10sports.com .

“We couldn’t be prouder of our student-athletes for their hard work and dedication this season,” said Ryan Mantlo, CFCC Athletics Director. “Each team has shown incredible skill, teamwork, and determination throughout conference play, and their success reflects their commitment both on and off the field. We’re excited to see how far they can go in the postseason and encourage our community to come out and support them as they compete.”
