CFCC Launches Year-Long Student Art Exhibition: A Creative Encounter at Union


Wilmington, NC (June 3, 2025) – Cape Fear Community College’s Fine and Performing Arts department, in collaboration with the Wilma W. Daniels Gallery, is excited to announce a new student exhibit, A Creative Encounter at Union. This showcase is open to the public and will remain on display through May 1, 2026, in the Cashier’s Lobby at Union Station (502 N. Front Street, Wilmington, NC). In addition, several pieces of artwork included in this exhibition will be on display at CFCC’s Wilson Center.

The exhibition highlights CFCC’s emerging artists and features award-winning pieces from the 2025 Student Art Exhibition. From charcoal sketches and 35mm film to linocuts, mixed media, and photography, each work on display represents the vision, imagination, and technical skill of our students.
