CFCC Nursing Programs Ranked #1 in North Carolina by Nursing Schools Almanac

Wilmington, NC — Cape Fear Community College’s Associate Degree Nursing and Practical Nursing programs ranked #1 in North Carolina in Nursing Schools Almanac’s 2021 rankings.

Nursing Schools Almanac bases its rankings on NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN licensure exams student performance data. For the past ten years, CFCC nursing programs have maintained an average above 98% on the NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN licensure exams.

“We are proud to be recognized once again by Nursing Schools Almanac for the accomplishments of our Associate Degree Nursing and Practical Nursing programs,” said CFCC Dean of Health and Human Services Dr. Mary Ellen Naylor. “Our exceptional nursing faculty is focused on superior education and student success.”

“The success of our nursing students exemplifies the commitment CFCC has made to prepare graduates who are committed and eager to be part of a team and address the healthcare needs of our community,” she added.
