CFCC Taps into New Commercial Craft Brewing Program

Wilmington, NC (April 28, 2026) – Cape Fear Community College is excited to announce a new Commercial Craft Brewing program. This hands-on training course is designed to prepare students for entry-level careers in the rapidly growing brewing industry.

This 10-week program provides participants with a comprehensive, start-to-finish understanding of the brewing process. Through a blend of classroom instruction and real-world experience, students will gain practical skills in brewing techniques, equipment use, quality control, and industry best practices.

Classes will begin on Monday, June 1, and be held every Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through August 10 at the downtown Wilmington Campus, as well as at a variety of local breweries, offering students a unique, immersive learning experience.
