High school students, current college students, prospective students, families, and adult learners are all invited to attend. These will be held from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in CFCC’s Union Station in room 212 (502 N. Front Street) on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, March 27
  • Wednesday, April 17
  • Wednesday, May 22

These dates are an opportunity for individuals to receive one-on-one or small-group assistance in completing and submitting their FAFSA application. Key highlights of the event include:

  • Personalized assistance: trained financial aid professionals will be available to assist attendees and address specific questions and concerns related to the FAFSA.
  • Step-by-step guidance: to ensure accuracy and completeness to maximize their eligibility for receiving financial aid.
  • Document preparation support: attendees are encouraged to bring necessary documents, such as tax returns and income information, for hands-on assistance in completing the application
  • Accessibility and inclusivity: this series is designed to be accessible to everyone in our community.

In addition, CFCC will have representatives available to speak to prospective students about programming and training offered at CFCC.

“We recognize the challenges of navigating the financial aid process, particularly amidst the adjustments to this year’s FAFSA,” said Sabrina Terry, CFCC Vice President of Student Services. “These FAFSA days ensure that every student can confidently access the financial assistance required to pursue their educational goals.
