CFCC to Host Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse Career Fair

Wilmington, NC (July 8, 2026) – Cape Fear Community College is holding a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) career fair on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The event will take place at CFCC’s Downtown Campus, in the L Building lobby at the corner of 2nd Street and Red Cross.

The CNA and LPN career fair is an opportunity for attendees to learn about current job openings and network with industry professionals. Several local employers will be in attendance, including:

  • Interim Healthcare
  • Home Instead
  • Lower Cape Fear Life Care
  • Liberty Healthcare
  • Visiting Angels
  • Wilmington’s Parkinson’s Network
  • Woodbury Wellness & Rehabilitation

“Certified Nursing Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses are vital to patient care and in high demand across our community,” said Gina Mecca, CFCC Director of Career Services. “This event gives CNAs and LPNs the chance to meet directly with employers who are looking to hire skilled professionals.”
