CFCC welcomes Brad George to Board of Trustees

Brad GeorgeWilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) welcomes Brad George to the CFCC Board of Trustees. Mr. George was sworn into the Board at the bi-monthly meeting on March 28.

Originally from Greensboro, NC, Brad George relocated to Hampstead after high school. He served in the United States Navy before beginning his career at GE Vernova, where he has held the position of Maintenance Coordinator for thirty-three years. His dedication to public service is evident through his appointment on the Pender County Board of Commissioners and his ten-year tenure on the Pender County Board of Education.

“We are excited to welcome our newest trustee to the board,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “Chairman George’s experience and commitment to community development and education make him a valuable addition to the Board of Trustees.”

The Pender County Board of Trustees appointed Brad George, who will serve until June 30, 2027.
