Biography

Kristen Gerth was named Athletic Compliance and Sports Information Coordinator in April 2016. She manages the website (www.goseadevils.com), handles compliance, assists with athletic advising, and supports a number of other roles within the department. Kristen has been with the Student Activities and Athletic Department since December 2010.

Kristen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. After college, her love of the outdoors took her to Colorado, where she worked with kids of all ages at various camps and outdoor education programs.

A Wilmington native, Kristen has lived in several states throughout her life and made it back to Wilmington in August 2006. She has previously held positions at the City of Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach Parks and Recreation Departments.

Kristen enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband Dave and daughters Cailyn and Kelsi.
