Biography

Allison Nye received her B.A. in Physical Education and Health from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington and M.A.Ed. in Exercise and Sport Science from East Carolina University. With more than 20 years teaching experience, Instructor Nye has taught several courses in Physical Education including disc golf, team sports, softball, volleyball, and tennis. She currently teaches PED 110- Fit & Well for Life and HEA 110- Personal Health. Nye’s goal is to reach all students in understanding and improving their whole person wellness. Interests include developing and building a successful Health & Fitness Science Program at Cape Fear Community College.
