Biography
Jack Dwyer is a Career Coach with the Career and College Promise program at Cape Fear Community College. Before joining CFCC, Jack taught high school history at Camden Military Academy, where he honed his skills in curriculum design, classroom leadership, and student mentorship.
Since becoming part of the CFCC community in 2024, Jack has served as a Lead Teacher in the Bonnie Sanders Child Development Center and as an Information Specialist in Student Services—experiences that deepened his expertise in student engagement, communication, and academic support.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Coastal Carolina University and is a proud Chanticleers fan. His work is guided by a genuine passion for education and a commitment to empowering students to identify their strengths, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Outside of work, Jack enjoys watching and playing sports, relaxing with video games, and spending time with his wife and their dog, Tu Pawz. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he also cheers for the New York Jets, Mets, Knicks, and Rangers.
