Jessica Glover

Biography

Jessica Glover is a Visual Art Instructor at Cape Fear Community College specializing in portraiture and figurative painting. Originally from Cary, North Carolina, Jessica holds a B.A. in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill, as well as a Minor in Art History and an M.F.A. in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Her creative practice is deeply shaped by her time living, studying, and working as an artist in Lacoste, France, where exhibiting internationally and researching masterworks across Europe profoundly influenced her approach to visual storytelling. Beyond her personal studio work—which includes a published thesis and an extensive exhibition history across the Southeast and abroad—Jessica has worked as an art consultant and designer for Wendover Art Group, featured work at High Point Market, and served as a studio painting assistant to internationally acclaimed artist Mel Chin.

Having led technique workshops for students, alumni, and community studios, Jessica brings a practical, passionate approach to teaching drawing, painting, and art history at CFCC. She is excited to guide students in honing their foundational skills and developing their individual creative voices.
