Biography

Tara joined Student Accessibility Services in June 2025. Her 20+ year career in education includes teaching in K-12 and higher-ed settings; working with college freshmen and sophomores as an academic coach; and consulting and training staff and faculty at institutions of higher education on working with neurodivergent learners. Tara believes all stakeholders, especially students, benefit tremendously when staff and faculty understand who sits before them.

When out of the office, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. She also enjoys reading, playing the piano, and watching documentaries.
