Jessica Kiser joined the Cape Fear family in May of 2006 as a full-time dental hygiene instructor. Her course responsibilities included dental radiography, oral pathology, nutrition, dental hygiene theory, as well as preclinical and clinical courses. She became the program director in the summer of 2019 and continue to teach nutrition, dental hygiene theory, preclinical, and clinical courses. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, with leadership experience at the local, state, and national levels, as well as leadership experience at the national level with Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society. She is also a member of the American Dental Educators Association. Her research interests include adult learning, faculty development, and curriculum development. She enjoy baking, reading, and travelling, as well as staying fit by running, participating in group fitness classes, and riding the Peloton bike.
