I began my public safety career as Firefighter/EMT in 2004. I enlisted in the US Navy Reserves in 2006 as a Master-at-Arms (Military Police) and received an Honorable Discharge. I attended Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) in 2009. I obtained my Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2018 and my Associate of Applied Science in Fire Protection Technology in 2020. I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration with a concentration in Fire Investigations. I am a credentialed Fire Investigation Technician by the International Association of Arson Investigators. I am a certified instructor in both Firefighting and Law Enforcement disciplines.
