Steven Glass
Instructor - SBS History Department: Social and Behavioral Sciences/HistoryBiography
I’m originally from Lynchburg, Virginia. I served as a United States Marine Corps Infantryman from 2002 to 2006. I have been to several countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Albania, Malta, and Spain, to name a few.
After I moved to Wilmington, I started my pursuit of higher education here at CFCC. I transferred to UNCW, where I earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s in arts in History and United States History.
I have been a history instructor at CFCC since 2021. In addition to CFCC, I have also taught in the Adult High School Program (civics) at CFCC and university studies at UNCW.
I have four children and when they are not occupying my time, I like to read and be active outside. I love kayaking, biking, and hiking. In recent years, however, I have dialed those back, and now, I garden, and clean pools more than I would like to admit.
