Discover Your Future at CFCC’s Trade Up Career Exploration Event

Wilmington, NC (June 25, 2026) – Cape Fear Community College invites prospective students and community members to attend the Trade Up Career Exploration event on Tuesday, July 14, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at CFCC’s North Campus (4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne).

The event offers attendees an opportunity to explore CFCC’s Career and Technical Education programs through interactive experiences, open labs, hands-on demonstrations, and conversations with program instructors. This is an excellent way to learn more about in-demand career pathways and training opportunities available at CFCC.

Local employers and industry partners will also be in attendance, giving attendees the opportunity to connect directly with companies hiring in skills trades and technical fields, learn more about workforce needs, and explore potential career opportunities.

Representatives from CFCC’s Student Services division will also be in attendance to assist prospective students with admissions applications, FAFSA completion, scholarship opportunities, residency determination, and class registration.

“Trade Up Career Exploration provides a one-stop opportunity for prospective students to explore the many career and technical programs available at CFCC, experience hands-on learning environments, and connect directly with the instructors and support teams who can help them take the next step toward their future,” said Erin Easton, CFCC Vice President of Economic and Workforce Development and Career and Technical Education.

Attendees are welcome to stop by anytime during the event to explore programs, ask questions, and learn how CFCC can help prepare them for a successful future.
