Don’t let the cost of college be the obstacle between you and your career goals. If you are not eligible for a Pell Grant or just need additional college financial assistance, the CFCC Foundation may have a scholarship for you!

The CFCC Foundation works diligently to procure funds from community leaders, businesses, alumni, and CFCC employees to help students pay for college and achieve their academic goals. Scholarships range from program specific to general scholarships. The impact has far-reaching benefits. Some CFCC graduates who could finish their program thanks to a scholarship have paid it forward by setting up their own scholarship fund.

Whether you are a curriculum student working towards an associate degree or you are in a workforce training program through Economic and Workforce Development, there are scholarships available. Current students, as well as new students to CFCC, are encouraged to apply. There are funds to help you start your education journey and keep you moving toward your goal.

Application Cycles

Applying is easy! You only need to complete one application for financial assistance. Your application is valid for the entire academic year. The CFCC Foundation will submit your application for all the scholarships for which you are eligible. However, the open application period is not open year-round. There are three application cycles throughout the year.

  • March 1 through May 31 – Open to ALL current and prospective students.
  • August 1 through August 15 – Open to NEW students who applied to CFCC after June 1.
  • November 14 through November 30 – Open to NEW students who applied to CFCC after August 16.

All awards are available during the following fall and/or spring semesters. However, new students applying in August or November may need to have payment arrangements in place until the scholarship is awarded. So, be patient while your application is being processed.

And all the more reason not to hesitate! Don’t let the thought of tuition costs or student loan debt stop you from achieving your goals. Let CFCC invest in you!

Get Started

If you have questions about the application process, stop by and visit the CFCC Foundation office on the second floor of the Union Station Building. The staff and work-study students will be happy to help!
