Digital Cape Fear ID Card

Your Cape Fear ID Card is now available in Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet!

The Cape Fear ID is available to all enrolled students and current employees. Tap your smartphone at readers across campus to conveniently use your Digital Cape Fear ID. Your Digital Cape Fear ID acts just like your physical card and can be used to scan into parking decks, access special events, and more.

How to Set Up Your Mobile ID

Step 1: Before You Start

If you have already completed these prerequisites, you can proceed directly to Step 2:

  • Set up your CFCC username and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) at myCFCC.
  • Visit the Cashier’s office to have your photo taken.

Step 2: Add to Your Mobile Wallet

  1. Download the Transact eAccounts app from your mobile device’s app store.
  2. Open Transact eAccounts, click through the startup screens, and tap Get Started.
  3. Search for “Cape Fear Community College” and select it to navigate to your Mobile ID login screen.
  4. When prompted, enter your official CFCC username and password.
  5. Tap the button next to Campus ID to select “Add To Wallet”.

Your Cape Fear ID Card is now ready to use directly from your phone!

Eligibility & Photo Requirements

Cape Fear Community College issues student ID cards for all students. To receive a CFCC Student ID (digital or physical), you must be registered and paid for the current term. You can keep your student ID for the entire duration of your enrollment.

Important Requirements: When visiting the Cashier’s window to have your photo taken, you must bring a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., Driver’s License or Passport) to verify identity, along with a copy of your current class schedule.

Where to Get Your Photo Taken

Photos for Student IDs are taken at the Cashier’s office at either campus location:

Downtown Wilmington Campus

Located in the Union Station Building at the Cashier’s Window.

North Campus

Located in the McKeithan Center (Building NA) at the Cashier’s Window (Room NA-123).
