Veteran Actor Jordan Rhodes to Host Presentation and Q&A at CFCC

 Wilmington, NC (September 8, 2026) – Cape Fear Community College will host actor Jordan Rhodes for his “Blue Collar Actor” presentation on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Hosted in partnership with CFCC’s Department of Fine Arts, Film and Design, the event will take place in Room 170 of Union Station and is open to all acting students and the general public.

The program begins with a screening of select film and television clips from Mr. Rhodes’ six-decade career. Highlights include memorable roles in cult classics such as The Night Stalker and House of Good & Evil, as well as recurring roles in five television series, including Streets of San Francisco and Matlock, which was filmed in Wilmington.

Following the screening, Mr. Rhodes will share stories from his remarkable career journey, tracing his path from working summers on his uncle’s tobacco farm to attending a cocktail reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by Prince Philip.

He will also discuss studying under legendary acting teachers Lee Strasberg and Sanford Meisner, starting his early TV and film career in New York City, and working alongside Hollywood icons such as Gregory Peck, John Wayne, Gene Hackman, Jodie Foster, Mia Farrow, Robert Wagner, and Michael Douglas.

An audience Q&A session will immediately follow the presentation.
