Cailey Rash and Shannon Winslow Appointed to CFCC Board of Trustees

Wilmington, NC (July 21, 2025) – Cape Fear Community College is proud to announce the appointment of two new members to the Board of Trustees, Ms. Cailey Rash and Ms. Shannon Winslow. They were officially sworn in on Thursday, July 17, 2025, and bring valuable experience and insight to the college’s leadership. Each will serve a four-year term ending in 2029.
Ms. Cailey Rash is a local entrepreneur and advocate for mental health. She operates her own business as a childbirth educator and birth doula. She holds a B.S. in Health & Exercise Science from Wake Forest University and was previously celebrated as a WILMA Women to Watch finalist. She is a passionate supporter of women and families, bringing professional expertise and lived experience as a mother to her role on the board.
Ms. Shannon Winslow is the Director of Strategic Accounts at WebMD Health Services, where she partners with Fortune 100 companies to design global health and wellness strategies. Her career includes leadership roles at Walgreens and Bank of America, and extensive service to local organizations such as The Endowment, Willie Stargell Foundation, and the Northside School of Christian Leadership. Shannon is a Wilmington native with a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from UNC-Wilmington. Her healthcare, finance, and community leadership background make her an asset to the CFCC board.

Mr. A.D. “Zander” Guy and Mr. Dane Scalise have been reappointed to the Board of Trustees by the Pender County and New Hanover County Commissioners, respectively. Each will serve a four-year term concluding in 2029.
