CFCC Fine and Performing Arts Department presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College’s (CFCC) Fine and Performing Arts Department is excited to announce its upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Set against the backdrop of a mystical forest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows the intertwining tales of four young lovers, a group of amateur actors, and a mischievous band of fairies. Chaos ensues as their paths cross on a midsummer’s night, and love takes unexpected turns.
CFCC’s Fine and Performing Arts Department students and faculty are the creative forces behind the direction, design, and execution of the play. The production will run from April 18-20 and April 25-27, with nightly shows at 7:00 p.m. The venue is the Studio Theatre, located at the rear of the Wilson Center on Hanover Street.
“We are thrilled to bring A Midsummer Night’s Dream to life,” said Jessica Gaffney, CFCC Theatre Program Chair. “This play is a celebration of love and laughter and a way for us to share the amazing talents of our faculty and staff with the community.”
