CFCC to Hold Dental Assisting Information Session on July 28

Wilmington, NC (July 21, 2025) – Cape Fear Community College is hosting an information session on Monday, July 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for current and prospective students interested in learning more about the Dental Assisting program. The information session will be held in room 101 in the Dan and Sheila Saklad Health and Human Services Center (319 North Third Street, Wilmington).
The session offers valuable insights into program requirements, course schedules, clinical experiences, and the application process. Attendees will also have the chance to meet faculty and get their questions answered. No registration is required to attend.
CFCC’s Dental Assisting program equips students with the practical skills and academic knowledge needed to succeed in dental offices, clinics, and specialty practices. The curriculum includes both classroom and hands-on clinical training in areas such as chairside assisting, infection control, radiography, and administrative procedures.
