CFCC to host Career Discovery Night for adult learners
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is excited to announce a Career Discovery Night, an opportunity for adult learners to discover new career pathways. The event will occur on Wednesday, January 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at CFCC’s North Campus (4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne).
The Career Discovery Night will provide valuable insight and information for individuals interested in exploring career paths in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology (HVAC), Computer Integrated Machining (CIM), Welding Technology, and Mechatronics Engineering Technology.
The four programs featured at the event are strategically chosen to meet the demands of the evolving job market, offering potential students a chance to learn more about each field and their potential career opportunities. Representatives from each program will be available to answer questions, discuss curriculum details, and provide an overview and demonstration of the skills and knowledge gained through these career fields.
“We are excited to open our doors to adult learners in the community and help them discover the rewarding career paths available through our specialized programs,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “The Career Discovery Night is an excellent opportunity for individuals to explore their interests, ask questions, and make informed decisions about their educational and career goals.”
Registration is limited to ensure a personalized and interactive experience. Interested individuals can register for the event at cfcc.edu/discoverynight . Check-in for the event will take place at the NB Building. A map of the North Campus can be found at cfcc.edu/about/maps-locations/north-campus/ .
