National Crime Victims’ Rights Week was first established in 1981 by President Ronald Reagan to raise public awareness about the rights and services available to those affected by crime. The 2025 theme, KINSHIP, is a call to action, reminding us that our shared humanity should guide how we support survivors. KINSHIP emphasizes standing alongside survivors and fostering meaningful connections to services, justice, and healing.
