CFCC to host Construction Trade and Apprenticeship Fair on March 19
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is hosting a Construction Trade and Apprenticeship Fair on Tuesday, March 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The fair will be held in the BB&T Auditorium at CFCC’s North Campus (4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne). There is no cost to attend.
The career fair is an excellent opportunity for current students and community members interested in building their trade career network and connecting with local employers. Over 50 employers will be on-site to recruit talented applicants for full-time, part-time, and apprenticeship opportunities. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about educational opportunities and training programs in the construction trade field. Representatives from CFCC’s Construction Industry Programs – including Construction Management, HVAC, Plumbing, Engineering, Landscaping, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, and Welding – will be in attendance.
“As a community college, we’re all about opening doors to opportunities,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “This construction trade and apprenticeship career fair is an opportunity for both our current students and community members to have a chance to learn, grow, and get ahead in the construction industry.”
