CFCC to host Fall Open House on November 13
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) will host a Fall Open House, where prospective students and their families can experience all the opportunities CFCC offers firsthand.
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at CFCC’s North Campus in the NA Building (4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne, NC). The event will provide attendees with a comprehensive look at CFCC’s academic programs, student resources, and hands-on learning experiences.
What to Expect
Hands-on Program Exploration
Start your visit by checking in at the NA Building. From there, tour CFCC’s program spaces, including the Welding Lab and Veterinary Medical Technology building. This is the chance to see our programs in action and get a feel for the career paths available.
Meet our Program Representatives
Faculty and staff from various programs will be stationed at tables throughout the event, ready to answer questions and provide valuable information about CFCC courses and degree options.
Workshops to Help Students Succeed
Attend one or more 20-minute information sessions, which will be offered twice during the event at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Choose the topics that matter most to you and customize your visit to fit your needs. Workshop sessions include:
- Admissions/How to Get Started
- How to Pay/Financial Aid
- CFCC Information Session (in Spanish)
- CCP/Dual Enrollment (Learn about Taking College Courses While You're in High School)
