CFCC to host NC Department of Adult Corrections Hiring Fair
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is hosting a hiring event for the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the McKeithan Building on CFCC’s North Campus (4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne, NC). This event is part of a proactive effort to fill critical positions within the correctional system, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Registered Nurses (RN), food service staff, correctional officers, probation/parole officers, and many more.
Key highlights of the event include:
- On-site interviews: Attendees can participate in on-site job interviews. Individuals interested in participating must apply online in advance at dac.nc.gov/careers .
- Fingerprinting services will be available on-site for background checks, a requirement of the hiring process.
Attendees should bring copies of their resumes and any relevant certifications.
