CFCC’s Small Business Center ranked number one in North Carolina
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is proud to announce that the Small Business Center (SBC) has been ranked number one in the state according to the latest Small Business Center Performance Allocations. This ranking reflects the outstanding dedication and impact of the CFCC SBC in supporting and nurturing small businesses in our community.
The rankings, which are determined by the North Carolina Small Business Center Network, evaluate the performance of small business centers across all community colleges in the state. The rankings are based on five key criteria:
- Number of counseling clients
- Number of housing clients
- Number of small businesses in the service area
- Number of businesses started
- Number of jobs created/retained
Each criterion is scored on a scale from 1 to 58 points, with the total score determining the overall performance allocation. Cape Fear Community College achieved the highest possible score of 58 points.
