About CFCC Community Enrichment

A department of CFCC’s Continuing Education division, Community Enrichment provides a diverse array of non-credit courses that encourage opportunities for lifelong learning and community engagement. Home to more than seventy-five courses – representing everything from arts and crafts to foreign languages to yoga – continuing education students can explore new interests, meet new people and develop new life skills.

Location

CFCC Community Enrichment is located in CFCC’s Union Station building at the corner of Front and Red Cross Streets. When you enter the Union Station building lobby, take any of the elevators to the 5th floor and enter the Continuing Education suite in room 530.

For a map of campus visit the maps and directions webpage. To locate us by GPS, use the address “502 North Front Street, Wilmington, NC.”

Parking: On-street metered parking is conveniently available on Red Cross Street next to Union Station. You may also wish to view a list of CFCC parking lots available to visitors prior to visiting: http://cfcc.edu/parking/parking-maps/

Refund Policy:

A 100% refund for a class will be provided when a completed refund request form is received by the Community Enrichment Department prior to the course start date. A portable document format (pdf) file of a completed refund request form may be emailed to enrich@cfcc.edu, or the completed form may also be mailed or hand-delivered to our office. (If a course is canceled by the College, students will automatically be refunded.) A transfer into another section may also be granted if the same class is currently scheduled on another date and if the department is notified prior to the start date of the course. Once a class has started, a 75% refund may be available if the student officially withdraws from a course before, or on the “10-percent date” of the class. A completed refund request form must be received by the Community Enrichment department before or on the “10-percent date” of scheduled hours. Students are responsible for obtaining the “10-percent date” from our office prior to the first course meeting.

Attendance Policy:

Only students who have pre-registered for a class may attend a community enrichment class. No individual can substitute for a registered student, and non-registered guests are not permitted to attend community enrichment classes.
