Biography

I’m a Wilmington native and have been an educator for over 16 years. I completed my undergraduate degree in Mathematics at UNCW. Upon graduation, I spent the next 4 years teaching in local public high schools. Armed with a desire to find my true teaching niche, I went back to UNCW to pursue my Master’s degree. Ultimately, I found teaching at the community college level to be the best fit for me as an instructor. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and working out. Additionally, my husband and I enjoy ziplining.
