Remote Work Policy
Remote work allows employees to work from home in extenuating circumstances, inclement weather (Section 11.7 Inclement Weather), or other emergency conditions when deemed necessary by the President. It is important to note remote work is not a standard employee benefit, and the President must approve all instances of remote work. Those working remotely without the president’s approval could be subject to disciplinary action.
All CFCC policies, including conduct and confidentiality, remain in effect when working remotely. Employees must prioritize the security of CFCC’s data and information. To conduct work remotely, employees must use their assigned college laptops, which have access to a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for secure connections with CFCC servers and networks.
