Policy Statement

Cape Fear Community College allows full-time employees to attend college one course at a time
during working hours.

Procedure

Regular full-time employees will be allowed to attend college on a part-time basis to upgrade or improve their abilities as relates to their job duties and responsibilities through study or degrees, so long as it does not interfere with their College duties or conflict with NC Community College System regulations. Employees may be allowed to take one course at a time during working hours, provided it is approved by their supervisor with definite consideration being given to increases in workloads to other employees.
