& Wrap Facility
Training takes place inside Tint World’s Wilmington installation facility, providing students with direct exposure to an active shop environment.

- Material Handling: Learn procedures for handling customer vehicles and high-grade materials.
What You Will Learn
Window Tint Installation
- Film types and performance differences
- North Carolina tint laws and compliance
- Glass preparation and contamination control
- Heat shrinking and shaping techniques
- Full-vehicle tint installation practice
Vinyl Wrap Application
- Vinyl material types and finishes
- Surface prep and adhesion fundamentals
- Panel alignment and seam management
- Corners, edges, and recessed areas
- Wrap care, removal, and troubleshooting

Automotive Electronics & Emergency Equipment
Students also receive introductory training in high-demand dealership and fleet upfitting services, including:
- Speaker, amplifier, and audio component installation
- Interior panel removal and wiring routing
- Installation of sirens and emergency lighting systems
- 12V power integration and switch panel control units
Enrollment Requirements
Due to the hands-on, production-based nature of this training, students must possess prior experience or foundational education in automotive services.
Eligible backgrounds include:
- Automotive Technology or Auto Body/Collision Repair training
- Automotive Detailing or Restyling experience
- Paint or refinishing experience
- Dealership accessory installation or documented hands-on work history
