Cape Fear Community College is proud to partner with Tint World to deliver professional, hands-on training in automotive window tint installation and vinyl wrap application.

This course provides real-world, shop-based instruction led by industry professionals using the same tools, materials, and workflows found in today’s automotive restyling facilities.

Train Inside an Active Tint
& Wrap Facility

Training takes place inside Tint World’s Wilmington installation facility, providing students with direct exposure to an active shop environment.

  • Live Shop Workflow: Understand production timelines and quality standards.
  • Professional Installation Bays: Work in the same environment as industry pros.
  • Material Handling: Learn procedures for handling customer vehicles and high-grade materials.

Automotive Electronics & Emergency Equipment

Students also receive introductory training in high-demand dealership and fleet upfitting services, including:

  • Speaker, amplifier, and audio component installation
  • Interior panel removal and wiring routing
  • Installation of sirens and emergency lighting systems
  • 12V power integration and switch panel control units

Enrollment Requirements

Due to the hands-on, production-based nature of this training, students must possess prior experience or foundational education in automotive services.

Eligible backgrounds include:

  • Automotive Technology or Auto Body/Collision Repair training
  • Automotive Detailing or Restyling experience
  • Paint or refinishing experience
  • Dealership accessory installation or documented hands-on work history

*Students may be asked to verify prior training or work history prior to enrollment approval.
