Our Place Restaurant
Our Place is a full-service restaurant operated by students in the Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Hospitality Management programs. Menus, prices, and hours are dictated by student learning objectives.
The restaurant is open to the public during the Fall & Spring semesters. We offer French Classical dinners during the Fall semester. Global Cuisine is offered for lunch during the Spring semester. We are only open on Wednesday throughout the semester. We are open for 12 dates during each semester.
Our Place provides our students with classroom instruction and hands-on workplace experience. Both integral parts of their success in the Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Hospitality Management fields.
Dining at Our Place
- Tables are limited to parties of 2 or 4.
- Dinner is $20.00 and lunch is $15.00, payable by cash or credit card.
- No tipping is allowed, but donations to our student clubs are greatly appreciated.
- No one under 16 is allowed, as Our Place is an instructional lab.
- Dining is by reservation only. Reservations are made through a lottery system.
- You will be notified via email if you have been selected for a reservation on your requested date.
All of our remaining dinners have been fully reserved.
Our last dinner service is November 19th.
The menus & schedule for our spring lunch service will be posted by December 5th.
The reservation requests link for spring lunches will be open on January 15th.

Our Place is located at 403 Water Street in the Emmart building, room 018. We are located between the Hotel Ballast and the Aloft Hotel. Parking is available in the lot in front of our building or across the street.

Menus
For our French Classical Menus, we offer a 4-course menu with a prix-fixed Appetizer/Salad course, Soup course, and Dessert course. We also offer 3 entrée choices for guests to choose from.
For our Global Cuisine Menus, we offer a 3-course menu with a choice for each course.
Please note that, as these are preset menus designed and prepared by the students, we are unable to make food substitutions due to allergies or dietary restrictions. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Our Place Reservations
Our Place Restaurant offers a variety of menu options based on the cuisines and culinary techniques students are learning. French Classical menus are offered twice to provide the students with additional learning opportunities for cooking techniques. Global Cuisine menus change weekly and feature a different country or cuisine. All dishes are prepared and served by CFCC culinary, baking, and hospitality management students.
