I’m Fine (song lyrics)

Wake up with a cloudy daze
Not knowing what’s your pain
Each day brings fits of rage
Wild thoughts and disdain
With pounding in your brain
And ringing in your ears
The clenching of your jaw
As back and joints degrade

Help is what I need
I make that dreaded call
The sound of that song
Brings the stress and fear
Is suicide on your mind
The first thing that you hear
Not here for your drugs
I won’t fill your greed

(Chorus)
I don’t need your pills
I’m Fine
We don’t need your pills
We’re Fine
I don’t want your Pills
I’m Fine

Need your buddy to call
The way you used to have it all
Now your just a caseload
Not important to them no more
To deal with my thoughts
Their pills don’t control me
Pissed off when it’s over
And over and over again.

(Chorus)
I don’t need your pills
I’m Fine
We don’t need your pills
We’re Fine
I don’t want your Pills
I’m Fine

Repeat the conversation
With no
Real end
Mental and moral fatigue
Minimize the healing
TBI and Pain
Hurting from inside
Coping in the world
Hear me when I speak

(Chorus)
I don’t need your pills
I’m Fine
We don’t need your pills
We’re Fine
I don’t want your Pills
I’m Fine
