Christina Whaley is the daughter of a United States Navy veteran and mother of eight children. She currently resides in Leland, NC and is pursuing an Associate in Arts at Cape Fear Community College. She works as a veteran mentor at the Bob Philpot Veterans’ Center and volunteers her time with the Student Veterans Organization.

Tina is an artist and photographer. She is interested in trying to find the unique qualities of everyday items as she explores areas in and around Wilmington.
