2024 CFCC Student Art Exhibition March 22 – April 26
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College is excited to announce the 2024 student art exhibition, showcasing our emerging student artists’ diverse talents and perspectives. The exhibition will run from March 22 through April 26 at the Wilma W. Daniels Gallery (200 Hanover Street, Wilmington).
Students submitted various artworks, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, digital art, and mixed media. The pieces on display in the exhibition were juried by Carla Rokes, a Professor of Art at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Visitors can explore the gallery’s captivating displays, which reflect participating students’ unique voices and experiences.
In addition to the exhibition, two special receptions will be held to honor the talented artists and their work. Both receptions are open to the public and will be held at the Wilma W. Daniels Gallery.
- Award Reception – March 22 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
- Closing Reception – April 26, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
“We are thrilled to showcase the exceptional creativity of our community college students,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “This exhibition not only highlights the artistic achievements of our students but also fosters connection within our community.”
