Biography

Philip Singleton is the Director of AFA Programs at Cape Fear Community College and has worked at CFCC for over 16 years. He is the conductor of the CFCC Orchestra and CFCC Studio Orchestra, a community ensemble offered through Community Enrichment.

Singleton has played the violin for over fifty years and, more recently, has begun playing the mandolin. He is the director of the local music ensemble, the Tallis Chamber Orchestra, and also performs with the Harken Here Folk Ensemble.

Singleton has earned degrees from Bowling Green State University and the University of Georgia.
