Biography
I have been in the foodservice industry for over 30 years. I have been a Corporate Trainer for Applebee’s International, a chef at The Surf Club, owned a catering business called A Southern Thyme, been the host of the local cooking show sponsored by CFCC called “Cooking on the Cape” and currently own a grocery delivery business for vacation beach house renters called A Moveable Feast. I am an associate member of the American Culinary Federation, the Wilmington Area Hospitality Association and NEWH (Network of Executive Women in Hospitality). I am also the Marketing Director for a non-profit organization called CauseBeer.org.
I have a passion for family, food and community and love to incorporate all three whenever I can. I absolutely love teaching and beam with pride that I get to do it at Cape Fear Community College.
