Biography
Sarah Peoples joined Cape Fear Community College in October 2025 as a Career Coach with the Career and College Promise program. In this role, she helps dual-enrolled students explore academic pathways, set meaningful goals, and prepare for success in college and beyond.
Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mobile and a master’s degree in Sports Administration from Coker University. Before joining CFCC, she taught at the K–12 level for eight years and later served as an Academic Advisor and Adjunct Professor at the United States Sports University, where she taught courses such as Contemporary Issues in Sport and Organization and Management in Sport. She also contributed to the development of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) education modules designed to promote leadership and professional growth among student-athletes.
With a strong background in both education and student development, Sarah is passionate about helping students reach their full potential. She strives to create an encouraging environment that supports confidence, exploration, and long-term success.
