Sign Up for New Student Orientation

We can’t wait to meet you at New Student Orientation!

New Student Orientation is a chance to get acquainted with campus resources, meet other new students, and learn about student activities and services. We will offer a series of informative presentations, followed by a campus resource fair. A meal will be provided at no cost.

For students starting Spring 2025 (January):

When and Where

December 10, 2024 | 4:30-6:30 PM | CFCC North Campus (Castle Hayne) | NE Building
  • Check in begins at 4:00 p.m. in the NE Building Lobby.
  • Access the North Campus map (Castle Hayne).
  • Free parking in any visitor lot or near NE Building.
December 12, 2024 | 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | CFCC Downtown Campus (Wilmington) | Union Station Lobby

What to Expect

  • Presentation: You’ll get an overview of campus resources, services, and essential information to ensure a successful first semester.
  • Campus & Community Resource Fair: After the presentation, explore a variety of resources available to you.
  • Lunch: Provided at no cost.

Important Information

Orientation is a great opportunity to obtain your student ID and parking pass. To be issued these, please make sure you bring the following:

  • Valid Photo ID: (Driver’s license, passport, etc.)
  • Vehicle Information: License plate number, make, model, year, etc.
Introducing the DigiCred Digital Wallet

During orientation, you will also activate your DigiCred student wallet when you receive your physical student ID. This digital wallet app will securely hold a digital version of your Student ID and other important credentials you’ll earn during your time at CFCC.

  • Secure: Safely store all your official CFCC documents.

Step 1: Download the DigiCred Wallet App: Before attending orientation, please download the app to your mobile device:


Step 2: At Orientation: You’ll scan a QR code at the Cashier’s Office counter, and your digital Student ID will be instantly available in the DigiCred app—it’s that simple and takes less than a minute!

Attending the event aligned with your program can provide valuable support and enhance your learning experience. Supplemental Online Orientation

While we highly encourage all students to attend an in-person New Student Orientation Session, we also provide students an online orientation option. This is great as a supplement to the in-person session, for students who are enrolled in online programs, or for students who might be starting at CFCC in a mini session.

Access online orientation at orientation.cfcc.edu and select Student Login.

If prompted for a username and password, use the same credentials as your CFCC portal account.
