CFCC announces series of one-stop enrollment events
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is excited to announce CFCC Registration Days, a series of “one-stop” enrollment events aimed at streamlining the enrollment process for prospective students. These events will offer a comprehensive, convenient, and efficient way to join the CFCC community.
Sessions will be offered at the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, July 16, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., CFCC Downtown Campus, Union Station (502 N. Front Street, Wilmington)
- Thursday, July 18, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., CFCC North Campus, McKeithan Center (4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne)
These events are designed to assist new students in navigating the enrollment process. Attendees can interact with various CFCC departments and services in one location. Representatives from advising, financial aid, and student activities, among others, will be present to provide support, answer any questions, and provide information on the FAFSA and NextNC Scholarship. The admissions and outreach team will also offer “basics” sessions, providing a general overview of CFCC, the enrollment process, and detailed information on becoming a student.
“This event provides accessible, comprehensive support for our prospective students, ” said CFCC President Jim Morton. “By streamlining the enrollment process and bringing together key resources in one place, we are making it easier than ever for students to fulfill their educational and career aspirations.”

Students and parents are strongly recommended to create individual accounts on studentaid.gov . This is essential for accessing and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
