CFCC Associate Degree Nursing program achieves #5 ranking in the southeast
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is proud to announce that our Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program has been ranked the fifth-best nursing program in the Southeast by NursingProcess.org . In addition, CFCC’s ADN program is the top-rated program in North Carolina. This achievement demonstrates CFCC’s commitment to providing high-quality nursing education to our community and the outstanding performance of our students.
NursingProcess.org’s comprehensive assessment evaluated 731 schools across the Southeast, recognizing those institutions that demonstrated exceptional excellence in nursing education. The rankings were based on the National Council Licensure Examination – Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) pass rates, academic quality, the nursing school’s reputation, and affordability. In 2022, the CFCC ADN program had a 97% pass rate on the NCLEX-RN.
“We are extremely proud to receive this ranking by NursingProcess.org,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “It highlights our program’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and producing highly skilled and competent nurses to fulfill the increasing healthcare workforce demands in our community.”
In addition to the remarkable NCLEX-RN pass rates, CFCC’s Associate Degree Nursing program also offers students:
- Experienced and dedicated faculty who are committed to their success
- State-of-the-art simulation labs that provide a real-world learning experience
- Clinical experiences in a variety of healthcare settings to ensure well-rounded training
