CFCC Dog Grooming to offer canine care services
Wilmington, NC — Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is excited to announce the launch of its new Dog Grooming Services. These services offer affordable and professional pet care while providing students with essential hands-on training. Through December 16, 2024, community members can book services for their canines, with day and evening slots available Monday through Thursday.
The dog grooming program at CFCC is designed to offer students a real-world learning environment. It allows them to practice grooming techniques under the guidance of experienced instructors. By participating in this initiative, students will gain practical experience in bathing, trimming, brushing, nail clipping, and ear cleaning, all essential skills for those pursuing careers in the animal care industry.
“We are excited to announce this unique service to the community,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “Not only does this provide our students with invaluable experience in a real-world setting, but it also allows us to give back to the community, offering high-quality grooming services at a fraction of the typical cost.”
