CFCC partners with Coursera to offer Google Professionals Certifications
Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is launching a new online technology and business program developed in partnership with Coursera. The Google Professional Certificates include IT Automation with Python, IT Support, Cybersecurity, and Project Management.
Building on the success of our Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Google Professional Certificate, introduced last Spring, these programs aim to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
Each course is offered online and designed to be completed in 12-14 weeks. The self-paced format allows students to engage in coursework at their convenience, making it ideal for busy professionals, current students, and anyone looking to start a new career in tech or business.
By leveraging the Grow with Google curriculum and the expertise of CFCC faculty, students will gain essential skills to advance their careers. Upon completion, students will earn an industry-recognized Google Credential. IT Support and Cybersecurity courses prepare students for certifications like CompTIA A+ and Security+ exams.
“We are excited to partner with Google to bring these innovative and highly relevant courses to our community,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “These courses provide students with the tools they need to succeed in rapidly evolving fields, and we’re proud to offer such accessible and affordable opportunities for career advancement.”
These opportunities are open to everyone, with no prerequisites required. Whether you’re a current student looking to supplement your degree program, a professional aiming to upskill, or a beginner seeking entry-level credentials, these courses provide a valuable pathway to achieving career goals.
Courses begin in September, and each course is available for $185.00. Registration is now open at cfcc-register.fundfive.com/filtered/course/google .
