CFCC to host in-person information session for Associate Degree Nursing program

ADN Student Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) will host an in-person information session for the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program on January 11, 2024, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. The event will occur in Union Station, room 387 (502 N. Front Street).

The information session is open to current and prospective students interested in pursuing a career in nursing. The information session will include valuable insights into the ADN program and offer an in-depth look at the major. The session will include:

  • Guided tour of the nursing instruction labs
  • Presentation about the ADN program
  • Opportunities to meet and interact with faculty members
  • Opportunity to meet with staff from our Health Sciences Enrollment Center to determine if individuals meet application requirements

“The in-person information session is a fantastic opportunity for individuals considering a career in nursing to gain firsthand knowledge about our Associate Degree Nursing program,” said Dr. Mary Ellen Naylor, Dean of Health and Human Sciences. “We encourage all prospective students to attend, take advantage of the guided tour, and connect with our staff to explore the exciting possibilities within the nursing field.”

Cape Fear Community College’s Associate Degree Nursing program was ranked the top-rated program in North Carolina and the fifth-best nursing program in the Southeast by NursingProcess.org.
