CFCC women’s basketball standout named to NJCAA All-American Team

Jaci Bolden Wilmington, NC — Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is proud to announce that Women’s Basketball starting point guard Jaci Bolden was selected to the 2023-2024 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Women’s Basketball All-American Third Team. She is one of only 30 players selected from over 145 teams across the country.

This season, Bolden was also selected as a Region 10 Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Year. After averaging over 20 points per game and finishing the season with over 550 points, Bolden continues to receive interest from NCAA four-year universities to continue her academic and athletic career.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to be recognized nationally for my contributions to the CFCC Women’s Basketball team this season, and I look forward to what’s next for me as I navigate the recruiting process,” says Bolden.

“CFCC Athletics is incredibly proud of Jaci and celebrates the recognition she has received from the NJCAA,” said Ryan Mantlo, CFCC Athletics Director. “We’ve always aimed to challenge student-athletes to excel academically and athletically, setting them up for future success. We’re excited to continue supporting Jaci as she moves forward to the next stage of her athletic journey.”
