2020 MS Excel Outreach Trainings
Cape Fear Community College, on behalf of NCCCS Customized Training, is pleased to offer the following training seminars free of charge to your company. Training manuals will be provided to all participants.
Space is limited to 2 seats per company for each seminar. All seminars will be held in Union Station, CFCC downtown campus, 502 North Front Street, Wilmington in Room U-469.

Excel Part 2 (8 hours)
Intermediate training of Microsoft Excel. This course covers more complex skills, including advanced formulas & functions, analyzing datasets, creating charts, graphs, and pivot tables. Basic working knowledge of Excel is required for this course.
Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 8am-5pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
Formulas and Functions (4 hours)
Increase your proficiency in calculations, analysis and interpretation of data. Learn advanced formulas and functions to streamline and analyze spreadsheet data.
Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 8am-noon (Will be covered in Excel II)
Data Management (4 hours)
Organize your data using tables, sorting and filtering, conditional formatting, data validation, grouping, consolidating and linking workbooks.
Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 1pm-5pm
Pivot Tables (4 hours)
Use basic data analysis to extract values from static data by summarizing and forecasting values that are not readily apparent. Build a Pivot Table, analyze the data and visually present.
Thursday, November 5th, 2020 8am-noon
Charts & Graphics (4 hours)
Communicate information more effectively using Excel charting and graph tools to present your data visually. Create charts that are clear, readable and engaging.
Thursday, November 5th, 2020 1pm-5pm
About the Instructor
Eddie Hauser is one of North Carolina’s leading Excel experts. Eddie is a Process Improvement Coach with CompuTrain Computer Services and an Adjunct Instructor at Forsyth Technical Community College.
